BCBS239 Panel at the Autumn A-Team Data Management Summits
Of particular interest to many will be the discussion from the London event regarding the use of spreadsheets in the face of BCBS239 and of the approaches to spreadsheet use that can help maintain data lineage, including our SpreadSheet Inside approach of including centralised spreadsheet-like calculations as a supported data type within the audited data management process.
The New York panel echoed many of the points voiced in London but said that BCBS239 must audit the lineage of calculations and derived data too and not just the raw data. Take a look at our recent work on data validation and exception management that facilitates just that.
