TimeScape Analytic Services
TimeScape Analytics Services provide over 100 built-in, high-performance analysis functions which can be used to perform a variety of data analysis tasks within TimeScape, including:
- Data transformation
- Line fitting and regression
- Mathematical calculation
- Periodic data analysis
- Statistical analysis
- Time series analysis
Customers can also extend the out-of-the-box analysis functionality by using the TimeScape Analytics SDK to develop custom analytic functions in C or .NET languages.
Once registered, a new analytic function can then be used within all queries that are executed from APIs, within local applications, from remote computers or across the Web, without needing to rebuild any of the programming interfaces in the component chain.
In addition, TimeScape Analytic Services also support unique XLL Connector technology that allows one-click registration of Microsoft Excel XLL add-ins within TimeScape.
XLL Connector technology allows models that were originally developed for isolated use in Excel to be easily integrated into TimeScape and shared across the enterprise. These XLL functions can further be combined with TimeScape’s Spreadsheet Inside technology, along with other analytic functions and queries, to create centralised, shared and controlled spreadsheet objects that can perform highly sophisticated data analysis and reporting.
