While some enterprise data management projects were postponed in 2008 and 2009, the trend now is that programs aimed at integrating and centralizing reference data are back on the agenda, fuelled by a need to drive down risk. The main change in the market is the decrease in big bang EDM projects. Instead, the focus is on small-scale projects tailored to meet business requirements, mainly prioritizing value-adding investments linked to risk and compliance.
