Introduction

The financial markets form a very fast moving industry, one where technology requirements are constantly changing and evolving in order to meet market needs and maximise profitability. Almost all institutions within the financial markets are under increasing pressure to deliver products and services to clients in shorter timeframes, with fewer resources and under tighter budgetary constraints.
